Whirlpool Genuine OEM WP3977767 Dryer High Limit Thermostat. This thermostat has a limit of 250°F. It will turn the heating element back on when the temperature drops by 80°F. This thermostat has 3 terminals. The high limit thermostat shuts off the heating element when the dryer overheats.

Not drying properly, will not start, no heat, not enough heat, too hot, drying ends too soon.
